About
Hey there! You've reached Edward Felch's personal website. Sorry! I know this is a Zork rip-off, but I
wanted to make something a little more fun. Each of these rooms has objects that you can examine or look
at that will tell you a bit about myself. Feel free to proceed through the next few rooms to learn about
me, and then if you're in the mood for an old-school text adventure game, keep on playing!
Experience
I've been a career software engineer since 2000 — working across the full stack in a variety of languages
and frameworks, while specializing within the Java/Spring ecosystem. The achievement I am most proud of is
developing an onboarding program that enables a new hire to make meaningful contributions to the team
within a week, while learning about the company, our standards, and best practices, and having a great time
while doing so.
I'm also a maker of things — a woodworker, a sculptor, a Halloween and Christmas prop maker, and a hobbyist
game developer. I love to learn how to build new things, and I love sharing what I've learned with others.
